Waste Operator

Waste Operator Location: Chapelcross, South West Scotland (Annan) Working hours: Monday to Friday 6.45am to 3pm or 10.45am - 7pm (alternate weeks) Salary: £11.77 PAYE Duration: 9 Months

Our client is looking for Plant Operatives. You will play a vital role in the surveillance and operation of the plant and plant equipment, ensuring all comply with operating, health and safety, industry and site rules. Your responsibilities will include; • Understand your role, duties and responsibilities and the impact on the site • Carry out routine operations • Monitor emergency equipment and systems The ideal candidate will posses; • Awareness of the health and safety legislation • 3 GCSE's (Grade C or above) or equivalent in Maths and English • Minimum of two years work experience working within a team environment Desirable skills: • JCB telehandler licence • Forklift licence • Abrasive wheels training course • Rigging/sligging operations
