Organisation Design Lead

Background
Our Central Government Client has a 6 month requirement for a Organisation Design Lead, based in London.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities
• Lead the development of the ICT TOM / Org Design necessary to implement the Tower model and the Gvt ICT Strategy. • Strategic planning ensuring all dependencies are understood and translated into interim state development. • Collaborate and build strong relationships with BAU functions providing strategic and tactical input on design, change planning and implementation. • Acts as SPoC connecting programme design to existing ICT design and improvement activities. • Engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Skills/ Experience Required
ESSENTIAL • (TOM) Target Operating Model / Organisational Design & Development. • Business transformation (inc vision, strategy, planning, delivery and benefits realisation). • In-depth experience as an design and change specialist working at senior levels in the organisation with experience in facilitating conversations and building sound relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. • Brings best practice methodologies and tools to practice of Organisation design, development and business change. • Business process reengineering. • Specific design and change experience within ICT. Excellent Stakeholder / Relationship Management Skills with track record of collaboration and teamwork across functional and organisational boundaries • Strong influencing, negotiating and communication skills DESIRABLE • Knowledge of and practical application of SFIA toolset. • Knowledge of and evidence of influencing pan-governmental agendas • Demonstrates political sensitivity on high-profile governmental programmes • Demonstrates a commitment to the principles of equality and diversity • Design and change experience within the public sector preferably central government.

Formal Qualifications Required
ESSENTIAL ITIL V3 (Foundation minimum) MSP / PRINCE2 or similar certifications
