Lead Commissioning Engineers

Our client is currently seeking two Lead Commissioning Engineers for a contract role based in Wolverhampton. This role is currently working 37 hours per week with the potential of up to 48 hours per week.

Project Overview
The silo Emptying plant project is about to commcence the works testing and commssioning phase. Our client has a responsibility to ensure compliant commissioning witle at works and as such has set up arrangements to act as the intelligent customer during the works testing and commissioning phase.

Objective
SQEP personnel must ensure compliance of the contractor during the commissioning phase to deliver operational time and quality requirements against the agreed commissioning programme.
Compliance will be measured against the agreed working practices, relevant site practices and test and performance documentation.

Deliverables
Ensure compliance with Intelligent Customer practices including:

Monitor contractor and SQEP
Review and raise FOB
Monitor TCA use
Attend CSC
Audit Contractor arrangments
Review contractor commissioning
Carry out custody transfer walkdowns
Monitoring arrangements for commissioning configuration control
Monitor progress
Stage Commissioning reports on individual systems or tests
Deputise for SL CTL
Review of contractor works IPC documentation
Execute/Witness works IPC
Prepare work ISC test documentation
Execute works ISC
Review Contractor commissioning
Prepare OWL (oustanding works lists)


Key Skills
SQEP Lead Commissioning Engineer
Qualifications HNC or equilivant
Proven ability with Electrical/Mechanical systems (preferably actgive area nuclear)
Good communication skills

Pay Rate Details
£34.50 per hour LTD
