IT Delivery Manager / Deputy Integration Manager

Our Central Government Client is looking for an IT Delivery Manager / Deputy Integration Manager to be based in Leeds on an initial 8 month contract. This is an immediate requirement.
The purpose of the role is to:
•Strengthen the existing Programme team
•Provide additional resources for the new Integration team
•Enable additional activity as identified in the review, including test phases, to be undertaken.
•The objective of this specific requirement is to act as Deputy Integration Manager within the Integration team who are responsible for the technical management of major technology programmes and systems integration including all aspects of the testing lifecycle.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities
•Responsible for supporting the integration manager in managing the integration team and meeting the team's responsibilities. Integration responsibilities include Testing, provision of "user-ready" Environments, Technical Implementation of the production solution and Configuration Management and release.
•Responsible for Special projects as directed by the Integration Manager
•Ensuring that the overall approach to testing provides a high quality delivery for the Production system
•It will be necessary to work with, manage and lead internal staff, as well as resources from third party service providers and product vendors.

Skills/ Experience Required
•Evidence of significant experience of providing expert technical and business leadership to major technology programmes by managing teams responsible for Systems Integration
•Evidence of applying best practice knowledge to complex, time bound, multi component programmes.
•Evidence of excellent communication and presentation skills including effective solution selling to both internal and external audiences and the ability to communicate complex concepts in easy to understand terms
•Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
