I am currently recruiting for an Interim Director of Governance and Quality for my NHS client based in South East London. This is an urgent requirement and you will need to provide a strong and visible leadership to the quality agenda in driving improvements in commissioned servies.
You will also be responsible for:
- all strategies to ensure quality is embedded in all commissioned services in line with CCG aspirations
- all clinical and corporate governance and risk management procedures and strategies for the CCG
- overseeing communications and patient engagement, complaints & PALs strategies
- medicines management and adult and children's safeguarding
- ensuring that the CCG's statutory duty to assist and support the NCB in securing continuous improvement in the quality of primary medical services is delivered
- overseeing that management of the organisation's corporate reputation so that it is seen to be appropriately
- leading the development of policies and procedures to ensure all governance arrangements that might affect the CCG are in line with national standards and best practice
- ensuring that systems and processes are in place to support the development of quality standards in commissioned services
To be considered for this post you must:
- be a registered clinical professional with current registration
- have a demonstrable experience of leading on policy development and implementation
- have extensive NHS experience
- have a minimum of five years experience as a senior clinician or service manager equivalent
- have a demonstrable evidence of working at a senior level in complex NHS organisations
- have experience of leading on a significant change management project across an organisation
- have experience of developing strategies and working at a corporate level and influencing strategic decision making
-have evidence of interpreting and implementing DH and other national guidance into relevant action plans.
