Vacancy Description:Capita IT Services are a leading player in the provision of outsourced IT support.
We are currently looking for an impressive individual to join the team as an AV Technician working on-site with a major name in the telecoms industry.
The role is based at the clients site in central London, a 2 minute walk from Piccadilly Circus tube station.

•Responsibilities include the prioritisation, logging, action and recording (where applicable) of daily tasks.
•Ability to demonstrate competent execution in the operation of all aspects of AV support. This includes, but is not limited to event presentation system setup, the operation of audio, video & recording systems, operation of video conferencing facilities, and to demonstrate a thorough understanding of pc presentation applications i.e. Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat etc.
•Ability to reconfigure the system when client requirements are specific and exceed the confines of the predetermined standard configurations.
•Responsibility for performing 1st & 2nd line troubleshooting of the meeting room equipment
•Requires the necessary skills and a good working knowledge of AV Systems to interact with clients to provide satisfactory support & advice, and action 1st & 2nd line troubleshooting.
•Thorough knowledge of the operation of Video Conference Systems, thus providing levels of support and assistance to clients from simple advisory or connection duties
•Provides 1st and 2nd line technical support for the distribution of the Video wall & IPTV Systems.
•Responsible for ensuring a mutual & respectful relationship whilst liaising with 3rd party services providers, to ensure that their obligations are met and to achieve value for money business support
Essential Experience/Skills:

Customer focussed
Computer literate
Video Confrencing Suites - Cisco/Sony
Desired Experience/Skills:Knowledge of Tripleplay would be advantageous.
Personal Attributes:Flexible, pro-active, strong communicator.
