Overview :
Our Client is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the temporary part time vacancy of Mechanical Engineering Lecturer. You will have relevant industrial experience and a teaching qualification no less than C&G 7307/7407. You will have the ability and confidence to hit the ground running and be based at a College in the Carlisle area.
Main Duties:
You will deliver subject learning materials to the learners, and carry the necessary lesson preparation and planning. You will maintain student discipline in compliance with the College's Disciplinary Code. You will carry out duties at all times in accordance with the College's equal opportunities and health and safety procedures.
Key Skills:
Ideally the suitable candidate will have a Teaching qualification (or ability to obtain Certificate in Education within two years) A Degree or equivalent and/or relevant vocational/professional experience Previous recent UK Teaching/lecturing experience or significant vocational experience required
